Following the massive success of The Cars' multi-platinum debut, the quintet teamed up once again with producer Roy Thomas Baker (Queen) to record Candy-O.

Released in June 1979, it became a huge hit, peaking at #3 on the Billboard album chart. The 11 tracks include such favorites as “It's All I Can Do,” “Dangerous Type” and “Let's Go,” which was their highest ever charting song at the time.

The newer expanded edition, released in 2017, adds seven bonus tracks; among the highlights are unreleased alternate mixes of "Let's Go" and "Lust For Kicks," as well as the previously unissued song "They Won't See You (The Northern Studios Version)."

Let's celebrate the 40th Anniversary of The Cars' classic by given it another spin.
