Today, September 7th, is exactly 50 years to the day that Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham and John Paul Jones played their first live show together, at Edgard School, organised by Gladsaxe Teen Club, in Copenhagen. They were billed as The New Yardbirds, and of course, they then changed their name to Led Zeppelin, became the biggest rock band in the world and changed the course of music forever.

To celebrate this milestone, a new super deluxe version of The Song Remains The Same is available today - exactly 50 years since the bands first gig.
Recorded on July 27-29 1973 at New York’s Madison Square Garden for the concert film, it was a time when Led Zeppelin were at their peak. The soundtrack to the film, produced by Jimmy Page, was originally released on Swan Song in 1976.
