Alice Cooper has been a well-loved by Aussie fans ever since he first graced our shores back in 1977. His stadium-sized, shock rock theatrics and anthemic hit songs have been a frequent marvel over the past four decades, and with his latest tour announcement, he show’s no sign of slowing!

Having last visited the country back in 2017, Alice Cooper has just announced an Australian leg to his massive international tour with a run of 2020 dates Featuring some pretty freaky stage design, ‘The Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back’ tour will be set inside Cooper’s Nightmare Castle and will bring together a revamped setlist of classic hits, deep album tracks and new music.

The shows are sure to stun from start to finish with support from homegrown dare devils, Airbourne and Detroit hard rockers MC50, a supergroup made up of MC5’s Wayne Kramer, Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, drummer Brendan Canty, bassist Doug Pinnick and Zen Guerilla frontman Marcus Durant.

The ‘Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back’ tour will kick off in February, hitting Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane on their way around the country. Proving why he remains the undisputed Godfather of Shock Rock, the Nightmare Castle performance will features the return of FrankenAlice, and the brand new Billion Dollar Baby. Check out the full list of dates below.

This week in 1972, Alice Cooper scored his first and only UK No.1 when “School's Out” topped the charts. Cooper has said he was inspired to write the song by a question, "What's the greatest three minutes of your life?". Cooper decided: "There's two times during the year. One is Christmas morning, the next one is the last three minutes of the last day of school." A surprisingly wholesome revelation from the Godfather of Shock Rock!
