The Who are easily one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century. They combined style, energy, and ambition to give us the power chord, the windmill strum, the Marshall Stack, the rock opera and so much more.
From Punk and goth to new wave and grunge - Dr. Martens have been on trend for decades. Now, they have unveiled their latest collection honouring of iconic British rockers, The Who. The stand-out feature of the collection is the tri-colour target logo that appeared on the artwork of the1973 album, Quadrophenia, becoming an internationally-recognized symbol of The Who, and all the Vesper riding ‘Mods’ of the era.
This logo appears on the 1461 shoe and 1460 boot, as well as on two styles of Dr. Martens sneakers. Other details include a red Dr. Martens heel loop and red stitching. It's just about the most British thing out there. Check out the full collection HERE.
