Duran Duran has shared a decadent new music video for the latest single ANNIVERSARY from their upcoming album FUTURE PAST, which arrives later this week.

The clip, directed by artist, filmmaker and photographer Alison Jackson, sees the pop legends throw an extravagant A-lister bash in an 11th-century castle with celebrity look-a-likes of Elton John, Dolly Parton, Madonna, Brad Pitt and many many more – almost every pop culture icon of the past few decades – that descends into a hedonistic paradise of dancing, poker and an iconic pool party scene of which Gatsby would be proud.

Jackson said in a statement that she was “thrilled to have been asked” to direct the video, “creating an iconic party for their 40th anniversary, bringing celebrities together from past and present.”

Duran Duran bassist, John Taylor said, “ANNIVERSARY is a special song for us. Obviously, we were conscious of our own impending 40th anniversary of making music together, but we wanted the song’s meaning to be inclusive in the broadest possible way.”

“After playing and working together for so long, we very much appreciate what ‘being together’ and ’staying together’ can really mean, it’s not something we would have thought song-worthy 40 years ago but we do today! It was also fun to build a track with hints of previous Duran hits, they’re like Easter eggs, for the fans to find.”

ANNIVERSARY is the fourth single shared from Duran Duran’s upcoming 15th studio album FUTURE PAST, boasting esteemed producers Erol Alkan, Giorgio Moroder and Mark Ronson behind the board. It features special guests Graham Coxon of Blur on guitar, Mike Garson from David Bowie's band on piano, guest vocals from Lykke Li, with more very special guests to be announced.

FUTURE PAST arrives this Friday, 22nd October. Pre-order, here.
