Unheard Christine McVie Song

We've got more from the upcoming Deluxe Edition of Fleetwood Mac's 1987 album Tango In The Night - an unheard Christine McVie song called "Where We Belong" recorded during rehearsal sessions for the record. Tango In The Night is the group's second-best selling record of their career (following Rumours) with the hits "Seven Wonders", "Everywhere", "Big Love" and "Little Lies", as well as being the final studio album release by the incomparable fivesome - Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks.

The new edition celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Tango In The Night, expanding on the original with a selection of rare and unreleased recordings, newly remastered sound, plus several music videos. There are three formats hitting stores at the end of March and all are available to pre-order now:

  • Deluxe: Three CDs, DVD and LP. Original album with remastered sound on CD and 180-gram LP, rare and unreleased recordings, 12” remixes, plus a DVD with music videos and a high-resolution version of the album.
  • Expanded: two CDs. Original albums with remastered sound, plus rare and unreleased recordings.
  • Remastered: One CD. Original album with remastered sound.
  • Also available digitally.

Both the deluxe and expanded editions include a disc of rare recordings. Last week we revealed one of those rare tracks - an early recording of “Seven Wonders” featuring alternate vocals and a very stripped-down feel - and now you can get a taste of an unheard Christine McVie song, "Where We Belong", recorded during rehearsal sessions for the LP at Record One in Sherman Oaks, California:
