AC/DC have offered up another taster from their upcoming album, Power Up which is due out on Friday (November 13th). “Realize” serves as the album opener and comes storming out of the gate with a slamming rhythm guitar that throws you right back to their 1990, The Razor's Eadge opener, “Thunderstruck.” Listen below.

It’s the second single from the record, and follows last month’s release of “Shot In The Dark” (watch here) which arrived with the news that AC/DC were gearing up to unleash their first album in six years, Power Up.

They cut twelve new tracks for the album with producer Brendan O’Brien - the same producer who helmed Black Ice back in 2008 and Rock Or Bust in 2014. The songs were written by Angus and Malcolm Young, prior to Malcolm’s death in 2017, and feature’s Malcolm’s nephew, Stevie Young, performing his uncle’s parts.

“Stevie is playing Mal’s parts,” Angus said in an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock. “But the songs, all of the songs on there are songs that Malcolm and myself had."

"A lot of them were ideas we had that we knew were good AC/DC ideas at the time, but we just never got around to getting them on record. Malcolm and me had a lot of years when the two of us would just be in a little studio, just working away all the time. When we went to do Black Ice, it was a case of you’ve got a few boxes of your ideas … [and] we only got [into] box one.”

Power Up will be available in multiple formats, including digital, CD, and deluxe versions on Friday, November 13th – Pre-order, here!
