Hear Previously Unreleased Bad Company

Posted

English hard rockers, Bad Company are responsible for some of the most recognisable rock songs of the seventies - songs like "Feel Like Makin’ Love", "Rock Steady", and "Run With The Pack" - and all these songs come from the four classic albums the group recorded in quick succession between 1974 and 1977.

After releasing expanded and remastered versions of their first two albums a couple of years ago, the band have announced the May 26 release of souped-up deluxe editions of their next two albums from that incredible run - 1976's Run With The Pack and 1977's Burnin’ Sky. Both albums have been remastered from the original production tapes and expanded with rare and unreleased recordings taken from the original album sessions. For fans, there is plenty that they will not have heard before (check out the tracklistings here).

Hear a previously unreleased version of "Sweet Lil' Sister" taken from the new deluxe edition of Run With The Pack, recorded in Grasse, France in September 1975, and engineered by Ron Nevison, famed for his work with Led Zeppelin, UFO, Heart and many more. This overdub-free, “live in the studio” track illustrates what a tightly knit group of musicians Bad Company truly were.
