Jimmy Barnes released the #1 book Working Class Boy in 2017 and toured it in sold-out theatres around Oz. That memoir has sold more than 250,000 copies and was named the Biography of the Year at 2017 ABIA Awards.

Now the incredibly insightful and emotional story about his hard upbringing will be released as a documentary film this August. 

Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Boy was produced with the assistance of Screen Australia and Create NSW. It screens nationally in cinemas from August 23 for a limited release through Universal Pictures

The documentary also features his wife Jane, son David Campbell and Cold Chisel bandmates Don Walker and Ian Moss.
