There's a new Joan Jett documentary slated for release on September 28 and the trailer looks sensational! It will hit cinemas and also be available on streaming services.

Bad Reputation is a journey through Joan Jett's life and career, from her early years as founder of The Runaways and first collaborations with Kenny Laguna, to her status as rock icon

A true trail-blazer for women in rock, with a total punk attitude, it's about time we saw a dedicated homage to the Queen of Rock. (We're excluding 2010's The Runaways starring Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, because, well frankly, it was terrible). 

The trailer opens with Jett recalling asking for a guitar for her 13th birthday and being told that "girls don't play rock and roll" to which she replied, "bull".
