Kylie Minogue is currently on a dream run following her show-stealing performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Her career-spanning, greatest hits album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection has since taken out the top spot on both the Australian and British album charts.

She’s taken to social media to thank Australian fans for their ongoing support after the album debuted at No.1 on the ARIA Albums and Vinyls chart, giving Minogue her sixth local No.1 record meaning she’s now ahead of Pink (five) and Celine Dion (five) and only lagging behind Madonna (11) for female solo artist with most number one albums in Australia!

Additionally, Kylie’s riding high in the UK where her compilation featuring duets with Nick Cave, Jason Donovan and Robbie Williams is also in top spot, making it her seventh No.1 album on the British charts to date. It's an achievement that sees her join the likes of Coldplay, Elton John, Barbra Streisand and Take That, who also have seven UK No.1 records.

Collectively, Kylie has sold more than 80 million albums worldwide and spent over 300 weeks in Australia's Official Singles Chart. Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection is a career-spanning collection of Kylie’s most beloved tracks to date, from the global number one smash hit "I Should Be So Lucky" in 1987 through to her most recent album, Golden that was released last year.
