Classic rock royals, Led Zeppelin, are celebrating their 50th anniversary and thanks to a recently announced collaboration with clothing company Vans, now we can all celebrate in style!

The customised rock 'n roll sneakers have been revealed by the band in a tweet showing two versions of Zeppelin shoes: low tops featuring the band’s iconic symbols from their fourth LP (Led Zepplin IV, 1971) and high tops displaying the famous Hindenburg disaster picture that Zeppelin used on the cover of their debut album (Led Zepplin, 1969). Both styles feature a black base, highlighted with white and red writing.

Half a century in the business hasn't dulled the enthusiasm of members in the Zeppelin camp. Singer, Robert Plant recently debuted a new band, Saving Grace, bassist John Paul Jones is working on a new show with Sonic Youth guitarist, Thurston Moore and Jimmy Page has been hinting at a release of new stuff later this year. A photobook chronicling the groundbreaking career of the iconic rockers was released in October last year.

Vans has a long history of collaborating with musicians and have previously released limited-edition shoes for Pearl Jam, Kiss, Slayer, Motorhead and Iron Maiden, among others. The Vans x Led Zeppelin collection will be available for a limited time in select Vans stores and online, beginning Friday, February 22.

Celebrate 50 years of innovation from one of the most adored and iconic bands of all time with our I Like: Led Zeppelin playlist.
