Eagles guitarist, Joe Walsh hosts his own independent radio show in Southern California coined Joe Walsh’s Old Fashioned Rock N’ Roll Radio Show. In a recent episode, he phoned up AC/DC singer, Brian Johnson for an on-air catch up during which they joked about forming the ultimate rock supergroup with Robert Plant and Roger Daltrey.

The chat comes a year after photos of the old friends catching up in person led to rumours that they were, in fact, working on an album together, but it’s something they both deny. In the segment, they discuss being desperate to get back onstage and hypothesise that their fictional supergroup would be just like The Three Tenors... but rock. Listen below.

Last year, Johnson interviewed Plant for the show in which the pair joked about Johnson applying for the vacant Led Zeppelin singer role; to which Plant offered to “put in a good word.”
