A recent office fave is the new album from the (mildly) mysterious Rhye, an act that we’ve all been loving on since this juicy Ryan Hemsworth mix of their tune “open” popped up last year.

That (and the rather lovely “The Fall” EP) whet our appetites and now the full length is here.

It sounds beautiful – so laid back its pretty much horizontal. And more than a sense of Sade and Everything but the Girl. Unfashionable and hard to break, but if it catches on it could soundtrack a lot of cocktail bars.

For me though I noticed the song “Last Dance”
 

and after hearing it scoured the credits to see if they’d even credited Curtis “Tripping Out” for interpolation…
 

Maybe they didn’t know themselves?
