Anyone who caught one of last year's sell-out Mike & Mickey of The Monkees live shows will be thrilled to know that the 24-song live collection The Monkees – The Mike & Mickey Show Live is set for release on August 3rd. 

Recorded live in March 2019, just a couple of months before they began their Australian tour,  The Monkees – The Mike & Mickey Show Live, is a joyous celebration of all things Monkees, with a deep focus on the songs of the groups' two surviving members, Mike and Mickey. Including hits like "Last Train To Clarksville", "Pleasant Valley Sunday", "I'm A Believer", "Mary Mary", "The Girl I Knew Somewhere", "I'm Not Your Stepping Stone", "Listen To The Band" and "Daydream Believer", the album also shines a light on Nesmith's songwriting and some of the wonderful album tracks he brought to The Monkees, including "Papa Gene's Blues", "You Just May Be The One" and "You Told Me".

Produced by The Monkees' archivist Andrew Sandoval & mixed by Mike Nesmith's son and band guitarist Christian Nesmith, The Monkees – The Mike & Mickey Show Live is a rare live release from the band, and follows their acclaimed 2016 studio album Good Times, from which two tracks, "Me & Magdelena" and "Birth Of An Accidental Hipster", are included.

For everybody who can't wait – including us – here are the original studio versions of every song featured, in the order that they will appear. There are a few obscurities here for sure, but it's all quality, and we think you'll agree it's a stunning selection of tunes.
