Fans of Alice In Chains got an extra special bonus treat last week when legendary guitarist Robby Krieger joined them on stage to play "Rooster" at the Hollywood Palladium.

AIC are currently touring their new record, Rainer Fog, their third album with vocalist William DuVall. The band ventured back to their hometown of Seattle to record the album - the album's title a reference to the city.

Kriger, of course, co-wrote some of The Doors biggest hits including "Light My Fire" and "Love Her Madly". The 72-year-old tore into the riff and solo parts of "Rooster" with ease.

Rainer Fog just debuted at #15 in the ARIA Charts and features the exceptional and instantly recognisable style of founding member Jerry Cantrell. Have a listen below, and then for old times sake (it's what we do here at ILYOS) jump into some early AIC with Layne.

Get your hands on official releases and merch by both bands in the ILYOS Store.
