Rumours are rife all over the internet about a possible new AC/DC album being in the works, and that Axl Rose is on vocals.
They started back in February when AC/DC biographer Murray Engelheart wrote on Facebook - “Speculate all you want but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: AC/DC will continue with Axl on vocals – new album, touring, the whole nine yards.”
Of course, Axl replaced Brian Johnson back in 2016 on touring duty.
More speculation followed by comments made by Rose Tattoo's Angry Anderson in an interview - “I was talking to Angus earlier last year when we were doing the encores and we were opening for Guns N’ Roses but Angus and I were asked to do the encores and I said to him ‘What are you going to do?’ and he said ‘Mate I’m writing a new album, I thought “Cool” so I asked him who was in the band and he said ‘Axl.’”
Now, just this week, Stevie Young - who replaced his uncle Malcolm in 2014 - and Phil Rudd, have been spotted outside a recording studio in Canada. The same studio AC/DC recorded their last three albums in.
Sounds like something is going down!
