‘Hooks Hysteria has been hotting up again since the band’s surprise reformation in early October 2015 for Rockwiz’s Salute to the ARIA Hall of Fame live show and with the band heavily featured in Channel 7’s ‘Molly’ mini-series (Skyhooks remain the Australian band most closely associated with Molly Meldrum and the glory days of Countdown).
As Skyhooks fans continue to celebrate the release of the super-deluxe 3CD set Don’t You Believe What You’ve Seen Or You’ve Heard – featuring the bands classic first two albums together with unreleased demos, and a third disc of 14 unreleased live recordings from 1974-75 - we‘re thrilled to announce the release of a brand new career-spanning Skyhooks single CD ‘best of’ called Hits’n’Riffs.
Featuring state of the art REMASTERING from original tapes and a generous 18 tracks, Hits’n’Riffs includes ALL the hits (From "Living in the 70’s" to their 1990 #1 smash "Jukebox In Siberia") and fan favourites. It looks as hot as it sounds too, with stunning cover artwork from legendary ‘70s album cover & poster artist Ian McCausland, and a colourful booklet includes some previously unseen images.
