Check out this cool Split Enz ad for their first album Mental Notes (pardon the stains – it’s just aging we promise!) from an old 1975 issue of RAM, not long after they’re toured with Roxy Music and when they were hitting the road with Lou Reed.
Then check out a super rare video of the Enz performing the wonderful Mental Notes highlight “So Long For Now” on long forgotten pop show Rock’n’Roll Circus!
It’s no surprise at all the Bryan Ferry loved them in his Roxy Music days (or that Roxy guitarist Phil Manzenera would produce their next album Second Thoughts).
