It would be remiss of us not to acknowledge that the divine Miss Q was just last month back in Australia for the 32nd time, in the midst of what she called her Australian Encore tour. And with the Boss here recently as well, what better way to celebrate than to have a listen to Suzi’s little heard version of "Born To Run"? It’s not the greatest version ever, but definitely worth a listen.

Of course, we have to say that we reckon Suzi was at her greatest in her early days with Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman making her records; when she dressed head to toe in leather, had a band that looked like the Stooges’ tougher (or at least drunker) older brothers (Suzi was from Detroit after all!) and absolutely tore things up with hard-hitting glam rock anthems like "Can The Can", "Daytona Demon" and of course "48 Crash".
