The Doors’ guitarist, Robby Krieger has promised to share “never-before-told stories from The Doors’ vital years" in his first-ever memoir,  Set The Night On Fire: Living, Dying, And Playing Guitar With The Doors that was announced this week.

The news follows the announcement earlier this week of a new documentary in the works, focused on the artistry of the Doors’ captivating frontman Jim Morrison (see here).

As reported Consequence Of Sound, Krieger’s memoir will uncover priceless anecdotes from the Doors’ mythical career. A description of the 300+ page book promises readers  “never-before-told stories” and fresh perspectives of some of the band's most legendary moments.

Set The Night On Fire: Living, Dying, And Playing Guitar With The Doors arrives October 12 via Little, Brown and Company. You can pre-order it, here.
