With love in the air again for The Seekers, ILYOS remembers the day that 200,000 Melbournians came to see them play at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl with some glorious colour footage from the 1967 TV special; The Seekers Down Under.
Listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest attendance for a concert ever in the Southern Hemisphere, the crowd was a wonderful homecoming present for the group who were having a huge impact on the world charts.
