To celebrate the fact that Tom Waits has agreed to perform live on David Letterman’s farewell series it seems a good time to dust off a Tom rarity.

The animated short “Tom Waits … For No One” (geddit?) was based around an actual Waits stage performance of “The One That got Away” filmed and then animated.
