Alice Cooper and Slash are among some of the biggest names in rock to appear in a trailer for an upcoming documentary called, Rock Camp. he film documents the American Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp that’s been giving people the chance to jam with their idols for over two decades now.
Cooper and Slash, plus Steven Tyler, Dave Navarro, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Jeff Beck, Nancy Wilson and more – who have taken up a camp counsellor roles in the past – are all among the legends of rock that can be seen in the trailer. Watch below.
Rock Camp [Trailer]
Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp was started by producer David Fishof in 1996. Over the four days of intensive rock training, campers are taught the tricks of the trade by some of the biggest names in the biz, culminating in concert that lets campers show off their new found skills on stage, performing live with bonafide icons.
In the trailer for Rock Camp, Cooper reflects on the camp, saying, “You would have a 15-year-old kid playing drums, and a dentist on guitar. If this band were a real band it would be the weirdest band ever, but cool!”
Rock Camp is slated to to appear in “Theaters / Virtual Cinemas starting January 15, 2021.”
