Alice Cooper has made a heartwarming surprise appearance on a recent episode of Coffee Talk With ADIKA Live, a YouTube talk show hosted by former Rolling Stone writer Corey Levitan.

The shock-rocker appeared live to perform a charming original crooner in a bid to cheer up Zak Nilsson – son of late singer Harry Nilsson – who is suffering from late-stage colon cancer.

According to Rolling Stone, Nilsson’s recent admission to hospice care inspired Levitan to reach out to surviving members of Harry Nilsson’s old drinking club, the Hollywood Vampires (also the name of Cooper’s band with Johnny Depp), to see if anyone wanted to send Zak a message. Cooper stepped up in spades, delivering an original song, in-person to his late friend's son. Watch below.

Zak’s famous father, Harry Nilsson passed away in 1994 from heart disease, aged just 52. He was best known for his 1968 hit “Everybody’s Talkin’”.
