A rare video for David Bowie’s track “Repetition,” which originally appeared on his 1979 Lodger album, has been unearthed. Titled “Repetition ’97”, the eerie video, filmed at the Earthling tour rehearsals in Hartford in 1997, by Tim Pope, features slightly offset images that’ll have you thinking you’re seeing double Bowie!

The song appears on his upcoming LP ChangesNowBowie, a 9-track album originally broadcast by the BBC on Bowie’s 50th birthday (8th January 1997). The LP will be released in limited quantities on LP and CD for Record Store Day on 20th June, 2020.

The sparse, mostly acoustic collection of his songs also includes “Aladdin Sane” and the Velvet Underground’s “White Light/White Heat,” which were recorded at New York’s Looking Glass Studios in November 1996, and produced by Bowie himself, alongside Reeves Gabrels and Mark Plati.

ChangesNowBowie will be released on streaming services this Friday, April 17th, ahead of this year's Record Store Day which has been rescheduled to June 20th due to the coronavirus pandemic.
