Nick Cave appeared on James Corden’s The Late Late Show recently (September 9th) with a stunning, stripped-back cover of T-Rex’s 1971 Electric Warrior classic, “Cosmic Dancer” – watch below.

The live rendition of the song was recorded at London’s Alexandra Palace, the setting of his recent Idiot Prayer global live-streamed concert. Cave has also shared a new extended trailer for the concert film, which will now be released in cinemas globally on November 5th.

Cave said in a statement: “On 19th June 2020, surrounded by Covid officers with tape measures and thermometers, masked-up gaffers and camera operators, nervous looking technicians and buckets of hand gel, we created something very strange and very beautiful that spoke into this uncertain time, but was in no way bowed by it.”
