Skunk Anansie surprised fans at recent London show when they invited legendary frontman of The Jam, Paul Weller to sing a very special duet of “You Do Something To Me.” Performing to a huge crowd at the massive O2 Academy Brixton, vocalist, Skin welcomed the ‘Modfather’ onstage during the band’s encore to share the vocals on the iconic Weller-penned track.

Posting on Instagram after the show, Skin couldn't hide her fangirl excitement, writing: “Tonight @o2AcademyBrix I got to sing one of my absolute favourite songs with one of my hero’s, the incredible Paul Weller. Honestly, I was pretty starstruck but loved every second. Tonight was legendary.”

Skunk Anansie have performed their own version of the Weller track in the past, but this is the first time that he has joined them to sing it. Check out this spine-tingling acoustic version the band performed at London’s historic Cadogan Hall back in 2013.

Alt-rock icons, Skunk Anansie defied the 90s Brit-pop scene with their gritty, politically-charged rock, wild, punkish thrash and agitated funk. Dig into This Is Skunk Anansie on Spotify:
