Released in 1990 at the height of the Madchester explosion, Pills'n'Thrills And Bellyaches is the Happy Mondays album that gave us "Kinky Afro," "Step On" and "Loose Fit". They'll be playing it in full during their Oz and NZ tour which kicks off at the end of Feb in NZ, and hits Australia in early March.
Produced by English DJ Paul Oakenfold, the album incorporates a larger influence from house music than their previous releases, with NME Magazine calling it "a tremendous record, and a gauntlet chucked at the feet of all the other would-be legends in town."
