Get ready to celebrate the Queen of Soul! In less than a week, Nat Geo’s Genius series will return for a third instalment, set to explore the life and legacy of Aretha Franklin in the first and only authorized scripted series documenting her incredible life.

The iconic singer will be portrayed by multi-award-winning actress, Cynthia Erivo, telling the story of one of the world’s greatest talents. The series will explore everything from Franklin’s musical genius, trailblazing career and extraordinary achievements, to her “passionate and complex personal relationships” and the “immeasurable impact and lasting influence she has had on music and culture.”
