The time has come! Vol. 1 of Roxette’s extensive Bag of Trix collection hits streaming platforms today and, in the lead up to the official 4LP physical release on December 11th, we can now look forward to previewing plenty more treasured cuts from Volume's 2, 3 and 4 over the coming weeks.
The four-record collection of 46 previously unreleased or long since deleted Roxette recordings, includes demos, alternative mixes, Spanish versions, bonus tracks, and other fun stuff from the Swedish band's long, illustrious, and extraordinarily successful career, between 1986 and 2016.
Bag Of Trix is packed with gold nuggets, like a special hot-tempered single mix of “Joyride,” and Per and Marie’s acoustic version of “Listen To Your Heart” and which, together with their version of the Beatles' "Help!" was recorded in the Abbey Road studio in London in the autumn of 1995. And, Marie Fredriksson’s millions of fans around the world are perhaps most looking to hearing the three home-recorded demo versions of her own songs “Pocketful Of Rain”, “Beautiful Boy” and “Waiting For The Rain” – of which only the latter ended up on a Roxette album.
“Both Marie and I loved being in the studio and recording our music – and now that you look back on our career, it is quite overwhelming how much material we managed to produce. Significantly more than we could ever release. We were really spurred on by the whole fantastic Roxette circus,” Per Gessle said in a statement.

Bag of Trix – Music From The Roxette Vaults be released digitally in four volumes starting on October 30th and running through to December 11th when the 4LP/3CD boxed set - will be officially released.
