Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Beth Hart is one of the most prolific blues artists of current times. Most of you may know her from her electric live shows - she's no stranger to Australian shores - Hart is a regular at Byron Bay's Bluesfest, tours often, and has a loyal following here in Oz and in New Zealand where she scored a number 1 hit with "LA Song (Out Of This Town)" in the late 90s.

Her live accolades extend to playing London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall, Jools Holland's legendary Hootenany and Nashville's Ryman Auditorium amongst twenty plus years of successful international tours.  Amongst touring she's picked up multiple awards as a songwriter and also reached number 1 on the Billboard Blues charts for two of the three collaborative albums she recorded with guitar aficionado Joe Bonamassa - who refers to her affectionately as "the new Janis Joplin".

This live performance is utterly flawless.

Since the release of her major-label debut solo album, Screamin' For My Supper (1999), Hart has worked with everyone from Jeff Beck and Charlie Musselwhite to super-producer Kevin Shirley and Guns N' Roses icon, Slash.

This week on September 27, Beth Hart is releasing her thirteenth album, War On My Mind. The first video to be released from it is this scorching blues number, "Bad Woman Blues".

You can get War On My Mind on CD or limited edition blue vinyl here.
