Blondie is partnering with Z2 Comics for a new graphic novel, Blondie: Against the Odds, mapping the New York icon’s rise through the city’s late-70s punk scene.
According to an official description, the book will combine “an imaginative take on an oral history of the band, interspersed with artistic interpretations of 10 songs from their catalogue.”

The 180+page book has been illustrated by John McCrea and written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti – who revived the character of Harley Quinn for their 2013 series with DC Comics. Check out the artwork below.
The upcoming graphic novel follows Deborah Harry’s 2019 memoir, Face It (see here).
