WOW. Has heartbreak ever sounded better than Johnny Johnson & His Bandwagon’s Love Is Blue from their 1970 album Soul Survivor? Seriously… What. a. tune.

I love the transition from the soft intro to the moment you can actually hear Johnny’s heart break on the record during the change up. Amazing stuff. Also, I don’t have a Guinness book of world records handy but that note he holds starting at 2:33 has to be a contender for the longest ever surely?!
