Easy Come Easy Go – With The Easybeats

Easy Come Easy Go – With The Easybeats

Now available on DVD thanks to the good folks at Umbrella Entertainment - the long lost 1967 documentary on The Easybeats Easy Come Easy Go.

Based around the recording of the single "Heaven and Hell" – and the band’s attempts to successfully follow-up "Friday On My Mind" - at the famous Olympic Studios in London, the film was directed by Peter Clifton (who later made Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same) and features legendary producer Glyn Johns as well as the band, in the studio and looning around like these sixties groups were want to do.

Musically it also features many of their classics, including "Wedding Ring", "She’s So Fine", "Saturday Night", "Who’ll Be The One", "Friday On My Mind" and the otherwise unavailable and brilliant beat-pop arrangement of the trad Scottish song "Loch Lomond", which is worth the cost of entry all by itself.

Well worth a watch.
