In 1984, INXS had their first number-one hit here in Australia with the sultry pop sensation, “Original Sin.” It was the start of something big, as the band found global success with smash albums like, Listen Like Thieves (1985), Kick (1987), and X (1990); and their MASSIVE singles What You Need, Need You Tonight, Devil Inside, Never Tear Us Apart and many more.

It could be said, that their veritable avalanche of success culminated on 13 July 1991, when INXS performed an electrifying concert at London’s Wembley Stadium to a mind-blowing, sold-out mass of 72,000 fans. Lucky for us, the now legendary evening was captured in 35mm film with no less than 17 cameras –  director David Malle didn’t miss a second!

Let’s enjoy this captivating performance of the song that got the whole party started, in memory of the band's beloved late frontman, Michael Hutchence. RIP.
