Ol'55's 1976 single "(I Want A) Rockin' Christmas" was not only a massive hit, but - surely - it's one of the most brilliant and rockin' Xmas songs ever! If you don't believe us give it another listen. Check out the great song and the incredible arrangement - this one gives the classic Phil Spector Christmas songs from the early '60s a run for their money for sure. The track was so big in Melbourne - 7 weeks at number 1 on the 3XY chart we believe - that it was still getting played AFTER Xmas and had to pulled from the playlist while it was still #1. Which must've been a first!
