The Gold-Dust Woman, Stevie Nicks has unveiled brand new a cover of Elvis’, Cotton Candy Land, which appears in the opening scene of the upcoming Baz Luhrmann-directed biopic about the King of Pop, simply idly Elvis. You can listen to the track, written by Ruth Batchelor and Bob Roberts, and recorded by Presley in 1962.

For Live studio cut, he was backed by the Mellomen, a vocal quartet made up of legends and popular stars of the era, like Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby, Doris Day and Peggy Lee. Presley's own rendition of the song soundtracked the 1963 movie It Happened at the World's Fair, in which he played a crop-dusting pilot.

Nicks is one of several music icons who contributed to the Elvis soundtrack, including Jack White, recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Eminem and contemporary country star, Kasey Musgraves; while soul-star Yola will play the trailblazing guitarist Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Gary Clark who will portray Arthur Crudup.
Presley's ex-wife, Priscilla, recently posted on social media that “Austin Butler has recharged the life [of] Elvis Presley. Not that it has ever left us, but it will, I feel, give our younger generation a taste of why Elvis is still the king of [rock 'n' roll], beloved and always will be."
