Massive news has arrived today with the announcement that post-punk/dance-music pioneers, New Order, will be gracing Aussie shores to play two shows in March 2020.
In what’s set to be a momentous occasion, the band will perform at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, with Australia’s own professional party starters, Confidence Man scoring the coveted opening spot. Melbourne fans are in for a special treat with Cut Copy also jumping on the stacked bill.
The band last visited Australia back in 2016 when they performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra at Sydney’s iconic Opera House. The upcoming 2020 tour will feature original New Order members Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert.
