Last week, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds announced B-Sides & Rarities Part II, the long-anticipated follow up to 2005’s B-Sides & Rarities, will be arriving on October 22. Pre-order, here. 

Now, the band have shared a new video to accompany Vortex, a previously unreleased track from the upcoming collection. The tracklisting, compiled by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, will unveil 27 rare and unreleased tracks that were recorded between 2006 and 2020, including first versions of tracks like Skeleton Tree, Girl In Amber and Bright Horses.

Vortex was originally composed in 2006 but, according to the band, because they “were never able to define the song as either Grinderman or Bad Seeds, it remained unreleased.” Watch the new video below.
