Ol’55 fans rejoice! Not only is there a new 2-disc 56-track collection Time to Rock’n’roll: The Anthology in stores TODAY, but the band has just announced – via old mouthpieces Frankie J Holden & Wilbur Wilde, who appeared this morning on the TODAY show - that it is reforming for 3 very special shows later in the year!

Featuring not only Frankie & Willy but also original bass player & songwriter Jimmy Manzie, and core members Patrick Drummond & Rockpile Jones (who kept the band going through their last big hit "Two Faces Have I" & beyond), these shows will mark the first time that this line-up has appeared together since 1977! Alas original drummer, the great Geoff Plummer, sadly passed away in 2006, so this is as close to the original line-up as possible.
Ol’55’s Melbourne and Sydney shows will be joint-headliners with the classic line-up Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, whilst their Gold Coast show will be Ol’55 alone. Tickets go on sales for all shows on Monday. Grab the new collection, grab some tickets, and get ready to rock’n’roll!
