Fleetwood Mac songstress, Stevie Nicks is among an extensive list of artists set to feature on the soundtrack for the upcoming Baz Luhrmann directed Elvis biopic, arriving in cinemas next month.

The soundtrack brings together a vastly assorted list of artists, including Eminem (joined by Cee Lo Green), Chris Isaak, Diplo, Pnau and Kasey Musgraves who recorded a rendition of Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love for the film. The compilation will also feature “original songs and recordings” by Presley himself, performed in the film by actor Austin Butler.

It hasn’t yet been revealed what contributions we can expect from Stevie Nicks – but, we have no doubt it will be a highlight of the soundtrack!

Elvis is set to premiere this week at Cannes Film Festival. The film, helmed by legendary Aussie director Baz Luhrmann, chronicles the life and career of the King of Pop, with a strong focus on the complex relationship he shared with his long-time manager Colonel Tom Parker, portrayed in the film by Tom Hanks.

According to an official synopsis, Elvis details "Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America." Watch the official trailer below!

Along with Hanks, the film also stars Helen Thompson as Elvis’ mother Gladys, Richard Roxburgh as his father Vernon and Olivia DeJonge as Presley’s wife, Priscilla. Austin Butler, who plays Elvis, recently received rave reviews for his portrayal of the icon from Elvis’ daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who described the film on social media as “nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely exquisite,” Presley wrote on Twitter. “Austin Butler channelled and embodied my father’s heart & soul beautifully.”

Elvis is set to arrive in cinemas next month. A release date for the soundtrack is yet to be revealed.

And, while we're here, let's enjoy a Stevie classic.
