Today is officially the most miserable day of the year. Group hug.

June 21st, the darkest day of the year, otherwise known as the Winter Solstice or June Solstice is an astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year.

We could have taken the optimistic and positive route today and provided you with some cheery upbeat songs to lift you up and squash those Winter blues, but stuff it, let’s just stay mellow and melancholy instead.
