The Return Of The Dream Syndicate

Hey, who remembers these guys? They were a hugely influential US indie band who led the so-called movement of jangle pop called ‘Paisley Underground’ out of LA in the early 80s and strongly influenced everyone from R.E.M to the Pixies and Sonic Youth to mid-‘80s Aussie bands like the Hoodoo Gurus and Died Pretty. The last we heard of them was when leader Steve Wynn was out here in 2013 for the Hoodoo Gurus second Dig It Up festival – now the band itself is back with a new album and it sounds like it’s going to be a corker.

Check out the epic title track "How Did I Find Myself?"

And, for an exhilarating blast from the past, crack out their absolutely classic debut album The Days of Wine & Roses on Spotify
