The Waite Is Over Tour Announced

We're extremely proud to present the inaugural gig of the I Like Your Old Stuff tour series.

The Waite Is Over Tour features a stellar line up of musicians, both international and local, who have promised the Australian public "an impeccable festival experience."

On the line-up, we'll see former Bad English member John Waite (we've been missing him to be honest), and joining him will be Aussie legend Daryl Braithwaite, Thirsty Merc's Ray Thistlethwaite, pop icon Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and a stack of others.

Like all festivals these days, this one did not get off the ground easily. An early conflict between Natalie Bassingthwaighte's manager and the promoters caused delays in announcing the line-up due to heavy demands to call the event The Waighte Is Over Tour. A compromise was made on choosing the location, Waightstaff Park in rural NSW.

Promoters are still waiting on confirmation from The Waifs that they'll change their name across all digital services to The Waits for the lead-up period to the event, however at this stage, there seems to be little movement from their camp.

The promoters have ensured the public there will be no queues for food, drink or toilets with a strict "No Waiteing" policy for the duration of the show.

Additional to live music, there will be a large screen set up for punters to sit and enjoy the films of Pete Postlethwaite including The Usual Suspects and Inception.

The event will be held on Sunday, June 31st at Waightstaff Park.

See you there, we'll be waiteing!
