US toymaker, Mattel has released a brand new David Bowie-inspired Barbie doll that pays homage to the late icon’s classic 1973 Life On Mars? music video.
It is the second Bowie Barbie released by the company, who previously celebrated the singer’s Space Oddity era back in 2019. The new doll marks 50 years of the Starman’s Hunky Dory LP and comes adorned in the pop chameleon’s signature powder-blue suit, pin-stripe shirt and platform shoes worn in the official Life On Mars? music video.
As the description reads, the doll’s “bold blue eyeshadow and a hairstyle inspired by Bowie’s ’70s glam era bring this look to life.” Check out the preview images below!

According to Mattel, the ‘David Bowie Barbie Doll #2’ comes complete with a stand and Certificate of Authenticity. Fans can get their hands on one now, via Mattel’s official website.
