A new pinball machine celebrating Canadian prog-rock titans, Rush has been announced – you check out a teaser vid below.

The upcoming machine is created in conjunction with Stern Pinball, who have previously crafted pinball homages to rock legends like Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Metallica, Iron Maiden and others.

Stern is yet to announce a release date but will be showcasing the upcoming machine virtually in January 2022 and have shared a teaser video spliced with nods to the band's illustrious back catalogue. Tracks like The Spirit of Radio and Tom Sawyer appear in the soundtrack, while the owl from 1975's Fly by Night cover leads the visuals. Watch below.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Rush frontman, Geddy Lee is currently working on a memoir in dedication to Rush’s legendary drummer and songwriter, Neil Peart. Lee revealed the news in an Instagram post, saying that while he was “locked down for over a year and a half” he struggled to cope with the loss of Peart, who died in January 2020 of brain cancer.

“My friend and collaborator on the Big Beautiful Book of Bass, Daniel Richler, saw how I was struggling in the aftermath of Neil’s passing, and tried coaxing me out of my blues with some funny tales from his youth, daring me to share my own in return,” Lee said.
