Sad news in regarding the passing of legendary indigenous country singer Auriel Andrew, seen here in the early ‘70s on Reg Lindsey’s National Country Music Hour TV program:

She never quit performing or recording; her most recent album was 2015’s Ghost Gums, and she was most recently seen performing as part of the ‘Buried Country’ roadshow that sadly now will continue without her.
