Vans are gearing up to launch a limited-edition line of sneakers honouring the late rock icon David Bowie. The collection will feature four of Vans’ most popular styles - the ‘Slip-On 47 V DX’, ‘Old Skool’, ‘Era’, and ‘Sk8-Hi’. Each customized design will pay tribute to four of Bowie’s most beloved albums …Hunky Dory (1971), Aladdin Sane (1973), Space Oddity (1969) and Diamond Dogs (1974).

Staying true to Bowie’s famously ever-evolving aesthetic, the sneaker designs are all of unique textiles and finishes. The Old Skool is cut in sleek leather, while the Sk8-Hi features a suede upper and the Slip-On includes Vans' signature checks in a faux-fur style. The line will be available on April 5th, here.

This isn't Vans' first rock and roll collaboration…just last month the iconic sneaker company released the Vans X Led Zeppelin collection as part of their 50th-anniversary celebrations. That line featured a black Era colourway decked out in Zeppelin's famous Four Symbols, and a Sk8-Hi edition emblazoned with the image of the Hindenburg airship from the cover of their 1969 debut album. The Led Zep collection included two and a baseball cap, but there’s no word yet if the Bowie collab will include any accompanying wares.

The David Bowie collection will arrive on April 5. You can get yourself a pair HERE.
