A new documentary celebrating 90 years of Abbey Road Studios has been previewed with a trailer starring Paul McCartney, Elton John, Roger Waters, and more.

The film, titled If These Walls Could Sing, is directed by McCartney’s daughter Mary, who states in the clip, “Abbey Road Studios has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.”

The trailer sees many famous faces reflecting on the decades worth of priceless moments that the iconic London venue has hosted. It opens with John saying, “When you enter a place with so much history around it, it’s kind of sacred in a way. People want to come here – they want the sound of Abbey Road.”

Elsewhere in the clip, McCartney plays the piano he first used on the Beatles’ early 60s recordings, saying, “This was our home; we spent so much time here.”

And Waters recalls Pink Floyd feeling like “we’d cracked it” when they recorded Dark Side of the Moon there in 1972.

Pink Floyd Founder, Syd Barrett is also the subject of an upcoming documentary titled, Have You Got It Yet?. The film will feature interviews with Pink Floyd, along with members of The WhoBlur, and many more artists who have been directly and indirectly influenced by Barrett, to paint a "portrait of one of the most iconic cult figures in music”.
